General Assemblies & Conference, the annual event from IMPF, was successfully held over two days from April 3–4, 2025, in Athens, Greece.

The event was organized by Independent Music Publishers International Forum (IMPF), a global organization representing independent music publishers. Based in Brussels, the organization represents 230 independent music publishers across five different continents, bringing together a highly engaged membership that includes some of the most successful music companies and entrepreneurs in the world.

Massive Music, as a member of IMPF, took part in one of the panel discussions held during the event. Under the title "International and Emerging Markets; MENA and the Rest of the World," our Managing Director, Irfan Aulia, spoke about the vast opportunities in emerging markets like Indonesia.

“Emerging markets like Indonesia bring lots of opportunities. International music is coming to Indonesia, and now we are trying to export our music. I’m hoping to do more with IMPF to create cross-cultural opportunities. We have a population of 280 million. It’s quite a market,” he said.

During the event, IMPF also launched the fifth edition of the Global Market View for Independent Music Publishing. This edition of the Global Market View highlights the contributions of independent music publishers to the creative ecosystem—as key partners, agents of cultural diversity, and guardians of songs.
