Massive Music’s regular songwriter discussion event, Malem-Malem Publishing, was held for the first time outside Java, with Bandar Lampung being the first city to host it.

At this event, we talked about the role of music publishers in general, sharing insights with songwriters in the area.

It was a pleasant surprise to see so many talented songwriters from Lampung. The event was packed with attendees, not just from Bandar Lampung, but from all corners of the province.

The discussion was super lively, with tons of questions about copyright, royalties, and everything related to music publishing.

The event was also attended by media, both print and digital, who were eager to learn more about the copyright topics we covered. In fact, before the event, we were even invited to do a media visit with some major media outlets there.

At this Malem-Malem Publishing event in Lampung, we introduced the digital registration system for the first time, using e-registration.
